Ventilated Facades ULMA with FAD Awards winners 2008



Ventilated Façade ULMA in the project 18 VPO Gavà Monica Rivera and Emiliano Lopez, winners of the 2008 FAD

ULMA Polymer Concrete involved in the project of 18 subsidized housing in the village of Gava Barcelona through its line of Ventilated Facades.

The work, completed in 2008, has been selected for the 2 nd Triennial 1:1 Architecture and submitted to the FAD Awards 2009. The authors of the project architects, Monica Rivera and Emiliano Lopez, were winners of the FAD 2008 by VPO project 27 to hire young people in Barcelona.

The draft VPO Gava, the architects raised a ventilated facade of polymer concrete slabs of 15mm faces north, east and west. They claim the architects in the data sheet of the work, this solution gives constructive continuous thermal protection on the outer perimeter of the building.
