AZAL Sustainable Architecture Biennale - Habitat
ULMA Polymer Concrete has funded through its line of Ventilated Facades the first Biennale of Architecture organized by Habitat Sustainable Future held in "La Pedrera" (Barcelona).
were presented the top 12 projects reviewed in the magazine in the last 2 years, among which are such important works as: The Terminal 4 of Barajas architects Antonio Lamela and Richard Rogers (in which this project is to ULMA drainage channels F300 model), Editt Tower by architect Ken Yeang, Metropol Parasol architect Jürgen Mayer, architect William McDonough Ecourban Hearts Tower or the architect Norman Foster among others .
Besides the exhibition, we have grouped all the projects in a book featuring over 120 pages, with high quality binding which aims to gather in one large volume of these flagship projects of sustainable architecture, being able to collect all important details at the time could not capture in the construction process as well as personal interviews Authors of the projects.

The Learning Centre and Primary CEIP El Tren de Fort Pienc located in the Eixample district of Barcelona, \u200b\u200bhas been selected for Catalonia Construction Awards 2007 in the category of Innovation in Construction. The building's main innovation is precisely of Ventilated Facade Polymer Concrete ULMA . Also, ULMA has participated in the project with the supply of blades and perforated for installation over the building line.
The Ventilated Façade , is an efficient system which helps to supply the building comfortable. It aims to improve the performance of buildings preventing thermal bridges and this translates into significant energy savings that completes all the requirements of environmental sustainability. The architects have created the project in question, Felip Pich-Aguilera and Teresa Batlle study Pich-Aguilera, committed to respecting the environment, sought to understand the environment and seek comfort by adapting the environment and applying the principles of bioclimatic architecture. Therefore, thought Ventilated Facades.
In the system of ventilated facade of the building CEIP El Tren de Fort Pienc has been used in addition to the smooth texture, a special texture slotted designed specifically for this work.
